Once the upper Inn valley below recedes into the distance and you have snaked your way up the winding path to Fiss on the sunny plateau, you are rewarded with the sight of the peaceful and ancient mountain scenery rising up before you to the 3000-metre peaks. Whether hiking, mountain climbing or rock climbing, the Samnaun mountains cater to all forms of ascent.

You will always be accompanied by the presence of nature in all its aspects. If you wish to focus on certain aspects of this, you can take part in guided themed hikes. The countless hiking and touring trails will lead you along the banks of streams, up past the tree line and past Alpine mountain lakes to various rustic huts and wild peaks.

WITH YOUR FEET ON THE PEDALS

The situation of the plateau allows bikers of all levels of ability and fitness to select suitable tours.

Several gentle trails lead across the plateau to splendid vantage points, which connect to more challenging trails of up to 70 km in length and summit tours at altitudes of more than 1000 metres, which require real skill on the downhill. You can also take things a little easier. It is no problem to take bikes with you on the cable cars.

With "Bike & Hike", you can have your bike taken to the Schönjochalm and follow it up on foot. Then jump on your bike and feel the wind on your face as you ride down to the valley. With 35 tours that are signposted and protected according to standards, our region is one of Tyrol’s best mountain biking regions.

Paragliding, horse riding, rafting or canyoning can add a little spice and adventure to your holiday. The attractions of Fiss and Serfaus will certainly give you an adrenalin kick.
