Snow has always fascinated people of all ages. It glistens and crunches, shrouds everything in a white, cotton-wool blanket and it can be shaped. Snowy Fiss, the smallest and most traditional of the three communities of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis sunny plateau, combines all the magical and silent elements of snow with the thrill and excitement of skiing.

THE SKI DIMENSION

Tyrol’s ski dimension offers something for everyone – from carving runs, racing pistes with speed measuring devices and moguls, through to deep snow and off-piste tours, not to mention beginners’ runs with magic carpet lifts.

This ski paradise stretches out between 1429 m and 2800 m above sea level, is 187 km in length, is excellently groomed and offers guaranteed snow. Special attention has been paid in recent years to snowboarders’ needs: With a fun and practice arena, Boarder-X, an easy mogul run, high-speed runs and rails, this is the perfect place to try out this cool sport.

CROSS-COUNTRY TRAIL SPECIALISTS

You can savour the crisp mountain air, enjoy gliding through the sunshine and take in the beautiful mountain scenery while cross-country skiing. Our cross-country trail specialists, who have been awarded the "Loipen-Gütesiegel" (seal of quality) for their work, make sure that nothing stands in the way of your enjoyment. As a result, the region offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiers. Enjoy 132 km of cross-country skiing trails, including high-altitude tracks, for classic and skating style. Special services for cross-country skiers are also available: Special lift tickets enable you to reach the high-altitude tracks cheaply and conveniently, while the "Nordic Points" provide changing rooms and showers for day visitors.

WINTER HIKES

For those looking for a peaceful and inspiring winter experience, Fiss is the ideal starting point for snowshoe hiking and ski tours. With fur-covered skis you ascend rhythmically at your own pace to the heights of the Samnaun mountains and then sweep down to the valley through the deep snow.

SNOWMEN, IGLOOS, SNOWBALL FIGHTS

Winter is an exciting time for children. There simply isn't time to get bored or feel the cold, and it would be best if the day never ended. With so much exuberance, children need a place where they can let off steam together with a bunch of friends.

This is precisely what the various services of the "Family Tirol Village" Fiss and its neighbours offer.

Children from 3 months and up can enjoy lots of special care and attention from the specially-trained team of the Murmli Club or in the kindergarten for guests.

The ski instructors of the Fiss ski school know how to combine fun and skiing – as a result, success on the practice slopes of "Berta’s children’s land" just comes naturally. Children can make new friends and have exciting adventures together in the Red Indian village or igloo village, on excursions to the cave world, and much more.

More fun is to be had with the whole family on the traditional and popular toboggan run. The highly entertaining climb, peppered with snowball fights and silly games, culminates in even more fun on the descent with harmless misdemeanours that will leave you with some amusing stories to tell.

No more tiresome lugging around of equipment. Simply hand it in and enjoy the rest of the day.
With the free Hotel Lukas bus transfer to the cable cars, ski school and ski depot, we make the daily skiing routine much simpler for you.

The bus service runs from 08:50 to 10:00 am.
You can hire toboggans or sledges from us, some with a backrest, free of charge.
If you want to arrange night sledging, we would be glad to take you to the Fiss toboggan run on the Hotel Lukas bus.
